Mayo is on the west coast of Ireland Mayo is on the west coast of Ireland. Galway, Roscommon, and Sligo all border Mayo. The capital of Mayo is Castlebar. The crest of Mayo means nine yew trees around the edges representing the plain of yews. Mayo facts! I’m a yew tree!

Some lakes in Mayo are Lough Corrib, Lough Conn, and Lough Carra. Some mountains are Nephin, Slieve Car, and Slievemore. Some rivers in Mayo are River Moy, Carrowmore Lough, and River Robe. Two of Mayo’s oceans are the Irish Sea and the Pacific ocean
