Assignment Prompt: The Takeover (40 Pts) Pretend you are in control of the U.S. in the year 2018. You want the U.S. to gain more economic and political power in the world so you decide to take over another country /territory. The U.S. will now dominate the political, economic, and social life of that other country/territory. Which location would you take over and why?

Poster Requirements: Step One: Give a title for your takeover operation. Write the title on the top of your poster. Step Two: Include printed pictures and/or drawings of your takeover location (maps, flags, historic locations, etc…) Step Three: Answer the Takeover Questions directly on your poster or write the answers on a separate sheet of paper and attach it to your poster.

Takeover Questions: 1. What is the name of the location that you are going to takeover? 2. What is the population of this location? 3. What type of government do they have? 4. Who is their leader/president? 5. Describe their economy (what resources do they possess). 6. Describe their military (size, weapons, etc.…) 7. Describe their social life (religion, customs, language, etc...) 8. Why are you going to takeover this location (3-4 sentences)? 9. How exactly are you going to takeover this location? (3-4 sentences). 10. What will be the political, economic, and social impact on the location you have taken over? (3-4 sentences)
