Session Objectives TO DESCRIBE THE IMPACT OF SLC ON STUDENT PERFORMANCE TO HAVE AN IMPLEMENTATION PLAN TO IDENTIFY HOW SLC IMPROVES RELATIONSHIPS TO EXPLAIN HOW USING SLC SUPPORTS HATTIE’S VISIBLE LITERACY

Predict the impact on…… ..academic achievement when students use cognition skills to analyze their work?  ..feedback on a student's academic performance? ..parental involvement on academic achievement? ..teacher-student relationships on academic performance? 

CAMERA, LIGHTS, ACTION… What did the parent role look like in this; teacher role; student role? How was student advocacy addressed? List the examples of the student accountability mechanism presented? How was student reflection visible?

Scholarly Research and Review… Nauss (2010) showed that SLC’s increased student achievement due to student ownership. Nauss (2010) also showed that among middle school students and parents reported significant value to the education process.
