My background 2010-2012- Research Assistant (Newcastle & NuTH) 2012-2016 PhD in epidemiology (Newcastle) 2016 Research Associate (Newcastle) 2017- Faculty Fellowship (Newcastle) I’ve stayed in Newcastle but… Placements (pre-application) at INSERM and Leicester Worked new collaborators (Newcastle, UCL, INSERM, QMUL) into Wellcome application.
Preliminary & Full applications Use ALL the space on the application form (don’t repeat things & be creative!) Read the eligibility criteria and work it in to your application Send your drafts to Gwen & Darren Speak to researchers who have been successful & ask their advice Leave enough time (finance and JRO sign off)
