Lesson 5: Deleting and Clearing Cells Objectives: Deleting cell content Clearing cell formatting Insert and delete rows and columns

A Cell’s Content and Format Attributes Remember, a cells content and format attributes are independent. This means you can delete a cells content, and leave its format attributes. Or, you can clear a cells format and leave its content.

Delete a Cell’s Content Deleting the selected cell’s content use the keyboard shortcut or Edit tab.

Clear a Cell’s Format Deleting the selected cell’s content use the keyboard shortcut or Edit tab.
