Page 2- Physical Map Reflection 2 paragraphs answering the following questions: Why did you choose this spot? What problems do you foresee in the future?

Page 3- Distribution Map Make a distribution map of your continent showing its resources and land use The map needs to be colored or labeled, have a map key, and show where your civilization is located

Page 4- Culture Drawing and Paragraph Draw a picture of a person from your culture. The person should look like a person from that area of the world, not an alien. Your person should not be in a bikini, shorts, wearing metal, or have on tennis shoes. Write a paragraph on how your resources and geographical location influenced your look. (Closer to the equator, darker skin or no cotton around you, leather clothes.)

(ex: Warriors are 3rd in command because they keep our country safe and bring in money through covert operations) Write a 5 sentence paragraph explaining how important your social pyramid is in your culture. Do your people have mobility or are they stuck in their birth class?

Page 11- Social Pyramid Reflection Write 2 paragraphs about your social pyramid Paragraph 1- 5 sentences answering how your government deals with other religions. Paragraph 2- 5 sentences answering if all of your laws apply to every citizen equally?

Page 12- Government Profile Make a more advanced government Type (king/queen, emperor/empress, pharaoh, oligarchy) How are they chosen? (birth, contest, popularity) How much say do your people have? (they can’t vote so how do they show when they are upset or happy with the government?) Page 13- Budget Create a budget for your new government Write $40,000 at the top of your page Spend your money on at least 10 things (get the list from Mrs. Fennema) In 5 or more sentences, explain why you spent your money on these things and what you did with any leftover money
