ABILITY CHANNEL FEED Item information from CCS is feed to SmartSite’s Content Management System and then moved to Amazon by Ability Channel Feed.

ABILITY CHANNEL FEED Ability Channel Feed is an item Communicator. It is used to add items and update item information including inventory quantities in Seller Central for both regular marketplace items and Prime items. This information is used to update the product pages presented to customers in the Amazon Marketplace (Seller Central). Backorders and cancellations are mitigated for Prime items using a Prime Inventory Level Threshold which must be set on all Prime items. Prime items are automatically switched to a regular marketplace item when the item’s inventory level no longer exceeds the Prime Inventory Level Threshold set for the item. When the item’s inventory level again exceeds the Prime Inventory Level Threshold, it will automatically be featured again as a Prime item.

CCS & ABILITY CCS ORDER COMMUNICATOR Customers purchase items in the Amazon Marketplace. The Ability CCS Order Communicator checks Amazon for order files at a configurable interval, downloads order files and imports the orders into CCS. Once in CCS, the Amazon Order Id is displayed on the orders and Prime orders are identified with the word ‘Prime Order’ next to the Amazon Order Id.

ORDER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FEEDS Order Acknowledgements from CCS are automatically sent to Amazon.

AMAZON REPORTS There are a variety of reports to help manage Amazon orders in CCS. Amazon Orders Canceled on Download: Displays list of orders that were canceled as a result of the Amazon Communicator download. NOTE: Prime orders should never display on this report because of the Prime Inventory Level Threshold setting on prime orders.

AMAZON REPORTS Amazon Orders in Error Status: Displays a list of orders of Amazon orders that are currently in an error status.

AMAZON REPORTS Amazon Orders Downloaded: Displays a list of orders that were downloaded into CCS.

AMAZON REPORTS Amazon Confirmation Upload Error: Displays a list of Amazon Confirmation statuses that are in error after attempting to be uploaded: NOTE: Only marketplace orders are reported on this report because Prime orders are shipped in Seller Central via an integration using Amazon’s Marketing Web Services (MWS) API.

ABOUT SELLER FULFILLED PRIME (SFP) Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP) is the Prime program that allows sellers with a Amazon Professional Selling Account to ship orders directly to domestic Prime customers from their own warehouse(s) or 3PL providers. SFP PERFORMANCE STANDARDS You must offer Premium Shipping Options. You must ship over 99% of your orders on time. You must have an order cancellation rate of less than 0.5% (buyer cancellations are not included in this metric). You must use the Amazon Buy Shipping Services tool in Seller Central for at least 98.5% of your Prime orders. You must deliver orders with Amazon supported Seller Fulfilled Prime carriers. You must agree to the Amazon Returns Policy. You must allow for all customer service inquiries to be dealt with by Amazon.

SFP SELLER CENTRAL SETUP Sellers participating in SFP will need to: Assign SKUs to SFP. – Ability Channel Feed Setup Regional Prime. Link their carrier accounts in Seller Central if they want to use their own shipping rates. Understand how the default cutoff time affects an order’s required ship date and carrier service availability. Control your SFP order volume. There is a mechanism in Seller Central to do this. Use the Buy Shipping Tool in Seller Central to buy shipping for at least 98.5 % of your Prime orders. – CCS Ship Orders Manually Program You will need to understand how returns work.

HOW TO FULFILL PRIME ORDERS (CCS) A separate print queue is setup for Amazon Prime orders. Print the Packing Slips in the Amazon Prime print queue and send them to the warehouse to be picked, packed and shipped. CCS is integrated with Amazon to Buy Shipping for Prime orders using the Amazon Marketing Web Services (MWS) API.

RETURNS & CANCELS (CCS) When a Amazon order or item is returned in CCS, Amazon is automatically sent an adjustment transaction(s) in a Order Adjustment feed. These adjustment transactions are reflected in the Seller’s Amazon settlements.

AMAZON SETTLEMENTS Amazon handles all billing of the customers. Sellers are paid according to their terms with Amazon. Money is deposited into the Seller’s bank account on file in Seller Central. When settlement files are available, the Ability CCS Order Communicator downloads them and they are processed in CCS to bring the open account balance on the settled orders to zero.
