Come Join our GCCARD Family Fun Walk ! This year’s 24th annual Walk for Warmth walk will be held outdoors. The walk is a family friendly event with perks including refreshments and a t-shirt. Save The Date February 25, 2017 The 2017 GCCARD Walk for Warmth will be held on February 25, 2017 at 9:00 am The Walk for Warmth is a statewide effort to promote public awareness concerning people experiencing heat-related emergencies, such as utility shut-off notices during the cold months. This program allows GCCARD to advocate and raise funds on behalf of people in need throughout the year. GCCARD sponsors many activities within the agency each year to raise funds for the Walk. All contributions raised in this effort stay here in our community to help Genesee County families and individuals in need. Gather your friends, family sorority, fraternity, schools, work, church members, etc. and form a walk team. Registration is currently open now through: Saturday February 25, 2017 -7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. the day of the walk; Registration forms will available on–site as well as being available on the Genesee County website located at: www.gc4me/resident/gccard For more information please contact Jade Young @ (810) 762-4927, or jyoung@co.genesee.mi.us
