ECONOMIC POSITIVE EFFECTS Development of the single market, especially in the field of freedom of goods and persons Investments in transport networks will create workplaces Helping for the underdeveloped areas in Europe

CULTURAL POSITIVE EFFECTS Bringing the people close together Giving better and new opportunities for European people to explore our countries. PROBLEMS To face the cost of the Trans-European Transport Network, countries need the help from the Structural and Cohesion Funds and also from the European Investment Bank The public procurement is a very expensive procedure in some countries (i.e. Hungary)

SUGGESTION Creation a network of experts to make sure effective synergies and to support with know-how how to make public procurement cheaper

FINAL REMARK Last night, the European Council reached an agreement about the financial perspectives for 2006-2007 This is an essential step for the European life and also for the TETNetwork To succeed is necessary a properly management in special benefit for the new Member States
