Anchor Text: Diary of a spider Phonics: Long vowels 0, u, and e, sounds for g Grammar: What is a noun? Writing: narrative writing- true story Math: patterns in word problems, counting dimes and pennies, doubles +1 facts Social Studies: American symbols we hope everyone had a great weekend and found some way to stay cool! As we continue to have hot temperatures, please make sure your child is bringing a water bottle to school and drinking plenty of water at home. We are still looking for more volunteers to help with our book fair. If you would like to help out please go to www.pattersonpto.com and click on volunteer. We will be sending home your confirmed conference time by Friday august 26th. We look forward to meeting with you!
