Grading Policy, Procedures, and Guidelines—oh my!

Grading: Assessments – 80% All of your assessments will fall into this category, but will count 1, 2 or 3 times depending on the assignment. For example, a graded homework assignment may count as a 1, a quiz as a 2 and a project as a 3. I will indicate the weight of each assessment as they are assigned. A special note about quizzes: If you fail a quiz, you may see me to discuss quiz corrections for a maximum grade of 65.

Participation and Preparedness – 20% Your participation and preparedness grade for each quarter will be determined based on the rubric below:
