Label: A name, word, or phrase used to classify or categorize a person or thing (labels are often, but not always, inaccurate) Assumption: Something that is accepted as true before one gathers any proof that it is so Stereotype: An often incorrect assumption made about all of the members of a particular group

Plot Diagram Exposition – Andy is a member of the gang the Royals. He has been stabbed in an ambush by a rival gang, and is bleeding. Rising Action – A drunk, a couple, and a homeless woman pass Andy, but don’t help him. Andy slowly realizes that he is going to die and evaluates his life.

Plot Diagram Climax – Andy decides he doesn’t want to die as a Royal and takes off his jacket, symbolizing that he wants to be himself. Falling Action – Laura finds Andy dying and a police come and sees that he is a Royal. Resolution - Andy dies. The police writes down Royal on his notepad.
