Mr. Hernandez: Taught at Birney Elementary for 19 years (2nd, 4th, and 5th grades) Is presently in second year at RMS (Earth Science and Math) Experienced in teaching physical, life, and earth sciences Direct and collaborative instruction where students utilize note taking skills and display investigative skills using Project Based Learning (PBL)

Focus On Earth Science: The text centers on the Earth sciences of geology, meteorology, oceanography and astronomy. The students also, use a practice workbook that summarizes the main ideas of the text.
