Happy Friday-Eve….Sortof Establish: I can define different types of figurative language Homework: CHARACTER ESSAY DUE TOMORROW Bellwork: If you were to describe yourself as a metaphor what would it be? Think about two unlike things!

Step 1 You and a partner take 4 pieces of paper, Stack the papers to where they are one inch apart

Step 2 Fold the papers with the layering at the bottom Fold the top paper in half with the other papers behind it Fold and hold

Step 3 Cut the paper in half Staple at the top fold

Step 4 Take figurative language sheet at table and write down each term on a flap Write the example on the top flap and definition on the bottom flap
