RWG 2017 Misoperation Report Expected date September 1, 2018 The RWG analyzes the misoperation data to: Provide trend analysis of Protection System misoperations data and possible root cause identification; Form conclusions/recommendations from the analysis to reduce the likelihood of future misoperations; Develop guidance and best practices to industry through technical documents and webinars pertaining to protection system misoperation trends, conclusions, and recommendations; Along with the WECC’s Performance Analysis Subcommittee publish results, to WECC’s Event and Performance Analysis Subcommittee (EPAS) and the WECC membership.
