South Carolina State Player Receives CPR

A South Carolina State men's basketball player was given CPR and stretchered off the court after he collapsed on the sideline during Saturday's game against NC State at PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina. It was reported that the player, guard Tyvoris Solomon, was revived. According to people involved, Solomon was lying on the ground and unresponsive. After receiving CPR, he was loaded onto a stretcher, and the teams left the court. Apparently, Solomon's heart stopped and he was resuscitated by South Carolina State's athletic trainer. Soon after Solomon was carried off, it was announced the game would resume following a 10-minute warm-up. The decision came after South Carolina State's players voted in favor of returning to the court. When the players returned to the court, the crowd offered a standing ovation.

CVS Health, the drugstore and prescription drug insurer, wants to buy health insurer Aetna for $69 billion. It would be the largest health insurance deal in history. Pharmacies like CVS and health care providers like Aetna are looking for ways to make it cheaper and easier for their clients to access medication and care. But this isn't a done deal. It'll have to be OK'd by antitrust regulators, who've been skeptical of similar mergers.
