b2 - 17 DO NOW: Take out your packet Write an expression using vocabulary to represent the given expression. b2 - 17

Objective(s): I will be able to: write algebraic expressions So that I can: record all operations with numbers and letters standing for the numbers. I will know I got it when: I can successfully complete the stations with my partners with at least 80% accuracy 6.EE.A.2, 6.EE.A.2b

Language Objective By the end of the lesson, student will be able to use the language domains of: listening, speaking, reading and writing. They will listen to and have an oral discussion with their partners on how to write algebraic expressions that record all operations with numbers and letters standing for the numbers. They will know they got it if they can communicate the key vocabulary effectively with at least 80% accuracy. Academic Math Language Vocabulary: sum, twice, quotient, power, increase by, decrease by, product, quantity, plus, divide by, divisor, dividend, less than, more than, variable.
