Figure 1 Tweet activity. Tweet activities on the twitter account @realdonaldtrump depicted as ‘double plots’ (see Supplemental Experimental Procedures). Activities are shown separately for all devices (A), the Android (B), MiscDevices (C) and the iPhone (D). The rectangle in (C) indicates regular work hours between 8 AM and 4 PM. Yellow backgrounds represent the photoperiod. Since the data are plotted according to local time (as given by the twitter archive), sunrise and sunset are displaced by an hour during Daylight Savings Time. The graphs below each double plot depict the same data but averaged as 24-hour profiles. The arrow in panel (B) points to the absolute minimum of tweet activity in the Android phone over the 830-day period.
