What determines traits? (chromosomes) Therefore the chromosomes have to be identical. How does that happen?

Chromosome duplication Chromosomes can be seen when they double One chromosome makes more of itself to form the duplicate chromosome, identical to itself. What is the chromosome made of? (DNA) So the DNA has to duplicate itself to make more exactly the same.
