Thursday, April 28, 2016 6:00 - 8:00 pm I’ve Fallen and I Can’t Get Up Presenter: William Demers, RN Location: LRH – Conference Rooms 1 & 2 600 St. Johnsbury Road, Littleton NH 03561 This class will focus on the evaluation and physical exam of the elderly with a specific focus on identifying individual and environmental risks for fall. Performing a pre-fall assessment, and review of call logs to gather data on factors leading to a fall will be covered. Relevant geriatric communication techniques useful with patients with altered mental status and other cognitive limitations will also be reviewed.
