Play Written by: William Shakespeare Madison Wolfer Macbeth Play Written by: William Shakespeare
Conflict Macbeth begins the play as an admirable hero, but he is persuaded by himself and pushed by Lady Macbeth to finish the fulfillment of the witches' prophecy. Macbeth struggles with the decision to murder for personal gain. He kills Duncan, and wallows in guilt afterward. His conscience takes over, paranoia sets in, and the repercussions are never ending. The Macbeth we see at the end of the play is barely recognizable as the noble man introduced at the beginning, showing how much he had changed throughout, after the murder.
Resolution This play ends up with a fight between Macbeth and Macduff. The resolution to this all is Macbeth being killed by Macduff and it being the end of him.
