NEEEA SUMMIT 2013 Sailing & STEM NESS is a year round nonprofit 501 (c) 3 educational organization dedicated to inspiring individuals to discover themselves through the enjoyment of the sea. Marine science, adventure sports and sailing are catalysts for building teamwork and self-reliance and teaching respect and responsibility for the sea. Need based financial aid enables programs to be accessible to all.

CASE STUDY #1 FIELD TRIP

FIELD TRIP LOGISTICS Rotations to manage larger school groups 1)Learn to sail program 2)Module of choice #1 3)Module of choice #2 CHALLENGES: Staffing Learn to Sail (Middle/High school 6:1) (Elementary 4:1) Time (min of 4 hrs) transportation New students Excitement level COST.
