The ST7500 TETRA radio is frontline ready, combining a small but rugged design with mission-critical performance. Easy to wear and easy to use, it provides public safety officers with a compact and powerful communications solution for the moments that matter. The ST7500 is the next generation modern-looking, small and slim form-factor, and lightweight TETRA terminal developed predominantly for public safety vertical. The compactness paired with a robust construction which meets US Military Standard and ingression protection upto IP67 fits the demanding public safety use cases. With advanced pairing capabilities of Bluetooth 4.1 Low Energy, Wi-Fi and accelerometer ready, the ST7500 is future-proofed for the modern day policing needs. The versatility of this sub-200g terminal perfectly positions it to fit into the TETRA+ framework to enable TETRA as a hub, or TETRA at the edge solutions, operating in pair with companion devices. Traditional two-way radios tend to be bulky, while users nowadays are accustomed to their smartphones and expect similar size and modern look of their two-way radios. The needs of modern policing is also changing and as new companion devices are made available and the inflection point of LTE migration, there is a strong need in the market for a TETRA radio that can easily be adapted as a constellation of devices. We carefully listen to our customers, so new requirements were quickly translated into a new concept. Introducing our next generation TETRA radio. The ST7500 is compact, capable, yet versatile . It is aimed at a whole new category of radio users who need a modern TETRA radio to operate in collaborative mode with LTE devices or even body worn video remote speaker microphones. ST7500 is the first TETRA terminal that weighs sub-200 grams and without compromising on the robustness or performance required for public safety personnels. Unlike your traditional two-way radio, it has a very short external antenna, made feasible by the internal hybrid antenna technology proprietary to Motorola Solutions. Even the high gain antenna is still considerably short at 57mm antenna while the shorter option is only 28mm long. Gone are the days of antenna getting caught to cables or your uniform. At the moment, this product is only available for 380-430MHz band only.
