Volume 39, Issue 2, Pages 215-221 (August 2003) Diagnosis of intrahepatic metastasis and multicentric carcinogenesis by microsatellite loss of heterozygosity in patients with multiple and recurrent hepatocellular carcinomas  Osakuni Morimoto, Hiroaki Nagano, Masato Sakon, Yoshiyuki Fujiwara, Terumasa Yamada, Hidewaki Nakagawa, Atsushi Miyamoto, Motoi Kondo, Isao Arai, Tameyoshi Yamamoto, Hideo Ota, Keizo Dono, Koji Umeshita, Shoji Nakamori, Yo Sasaki, Osamu Ishikawa, Shingi Imaoka, Morito Monden  Journal of Hepatology  Volume 39, Issue 2, Pages 215-221 (August 2003) DOI: 10.1016/S0168-8278(03)00233-2

Fig. 1 Representative autoradiographs of LOH in HCC. DNA samples were prepared from a primary tumor (T1) resected at initial surgery, a recurrent tumor (T2) resected at second operation, and corresponding non-tumorous tissue (N). Judging from the loss of the upper or lower alleles of the markers (D1S233, D8S261, D8S277, D8S539, D13S284, D16S515 and D17S513), frequent LOH was seen in Cases 5, 6, 10, 15, 17 and 18.
