Declaration of Independence Preamble- We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed, by their Creator, with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. Another way to say this is that the preamble laid the foundation for the Principals of equality before the law and individual rights This document also started the American Revolution. Sent to King George III to announce that the colonies will no longer be under his rule and to break all ties with the British Once it was sent it was too late to apologize and the war was on

American Values Ellis Island - an island in the harbor of New York City where millions of immigrants first set foot on American soil. During the turn of the 20th century, It was the primary entry point for immigrants on their way to becoming citizens of the United States.
