3. Summary Fran and Mike first met at their friends Andrea's party. Their relationship was steady at first but became a very tumultuous month for them in the end. They mad many mutual friends and were in the same social groups at school, so their paths crossed constantly thought the years. And by the summer after tenth grade, Mike left for a Spanish program in Mexico. And in those days that he was away, Fran found herself really missing Mike at school. So after his return they ended up dating. Things both went well for them for the rest of the school year and after graduation Fran went away for college and wedded Mike on June 18, 1972. Now, 25 years later, they have two lovely children and their motto is "Don't take it so seriously; it's only puppy love."
4. Comment I was very inspired with 'Soul Mates'. Because it reminded me of my teenage years. I really envy Mike and Fran's relationship. If I had a great friend like Mike, my school days would have been more exciting. I think people can empathize with their love more because this book shows the more realistic notion of love. We can really learn a lot about love and deep comradeship through Fran and Mike's childhood relationship. I recommended this to children in their teenage years growing up. I really believe that this book will truly help them understand the notion of love.
