About Ms. J (Hock-Balli) Received B.S. in Sports Medicine from East Stroudsburg University. Athletic Trainer for 24 years (College, Semi-Pro football, Pro Soccer, High School) Received Teacher certification from Eastern University in 2010. 7th Year Teaching at C.D. East. Working on Masters in Adaptive P.E. Mother of 8 year old- Ava Marie and 2 year old Adam Jr. “Bonus” Mom to Aaron- 14 y/o, Matthew-12 y/o, and Madison- 7 y/o NOTRE DAME FAN! GO IRISH!

Units First Quarter: The American Red Cross, Responding to an Emergency Second Quarter: First Aid Third Quarter: Cardiac Emergencies Fourth Quarter: Respiratory Emergencies Comprehensive 2 part Final

Red Cross Certification To receive certification cards students must: Properly demonstrate all skills Pass Red Cross exams and skill checks with an 80% or higher. There is a $27.00 fee charged to the students in order to be certified.

2 year Certifications Adult CPR/AED Child CPR/AED Infant CPR First Aid

Course Grading Classwork/Participation: 40% Homework Participation/Unit Packets Skill Checks/Tests: 60% Absence/ISS/OSS- Any missed work must be made up within 2 weeks of returning to school.
