January 21, 2010 Board Planning Session The mission of the McDowell County Partnership for Children & Families, Inc. is to partner with the community to meet the needs of all the children and families in McDowell County.

Performance Based Incentive System (PBIS) Provides a county-by-county snapshot of child care, health, and family support data Compiled by NCPC using third-party data sources (except for Family Support) Semi-annual awards given to Partnerships meeting or exceeding high-performing standards with no administrative audit findings - family support standards mandatory On occasion, PBIS has been added to the statewide funding formula for Smart Start Mandatory, selected, and non-selected categories
