Invitation to participate in the Career Speed Networking Gaia Innovation Ltd and Beachborough Prep School would like to cordially invite you to participate in this inspirational event on the 7th February 2019. This event has been designed to inspire and inform students about jobs of the future and specifically about careers in technology, engineering and design. Through engaging with ‘real model’ employers they will gain a greater understanding of ‘real life’ applications. They will also learn how useful personal and social skills are, along with Science, Computer Science, Art, Design Technology, English and Maths at GCSE, for accessing a 21st century career. “It’s really important to get the message out there to pupils. Meeting role models in engineering and computer science is really good. I was impressed with the amount of engagement between the professionals and students, and there was a lot of listening. I really hope we got through to some of them! The Career Speed Networking Event was excellent.
