Membership I think this is trending positively, meaning existing plans (new member check list) are being revised and updated but we could use a more.

Presentation transcript:

Membership I think this is trending positively, meaning existing plans (new member check list) are being revised and updated but we could use a more cohesive and robust strategy. I think the club has the intention of ensuring members are active but I'm not sure we are actively seeking those that aren't attending meetings and activities to find out why they aren't attending What kind of "Diversity" does Question 2 refer to? I think this question is dated and should not be included in anything Rotary. Sounds too divisive and could be interpreted in a poor manner. New members are generally not enrolled in positions. They may however be committee members which is great. We documented and launched a new member orientation program fall 2013. Documentation is stored on DACdb and was pushed out to all members via PMail.

Club Service Our club has a direct conflict with the District Training Assembly... Our primary fundraiser setup is that same Saturday of the assembly and therefore limits our ability to participate and learn. I am a new member (less than 3 months), from what I see the club is very organized and interested and active in all areas Rotary. We have 3 members enrolled in ERK. Programs or Club Assemblies include Rotary knowledge topics

Vocational Service Projects I'm not clear if we sponsored a RYLA scholarship this year, but in previous years this has never been an issue. Recreational & Vocational fellowships... i suspect we may do this unconsciously or indirectly, but certainly without direct focus. School connections are Band, Ski Team, FFA, Debate, Art Honor Society, Scholarships , and Construction Project, members have assisted FFA students prepare for career development events.

Community Service Projects We have one of the best Interact programs in the district! While I know we have Rotary symbols and promotions in the community, I'm not sure I would qualify them as consistent or prominent. We have a monthly column in the local newspaper, other than that there is not a lot of local information provided on a regular basis

I think we have a consistent, not documented, process for granting and giving. As a member of this club I am not seeking bold and dramatic goals. I am seeking community service and fellowship in the community. This activity for me is intended to balance a highly competitive work environment.

Newsletter is the agenda of the weekly meeting. Our agenda is communicated weekly but I don't define that as a newsletter I have heard committee reports but I don't think we've heard from all the committees regularly
