Teacher Profile Jessica Williams

Mrs. Manley Mrs. Manley has taught for 21 years. She taught two years in first grade and loved it, but she’s been in third grade ever since.

Favorite Part of Teaching Mrs. Manley’s part of teaching is the children. Where else can you work and have so many smiling faces each and everyday. She also loves those ah ha moments children have when they learn something new or make an important connection. She loves going to work!

Least Favorite Part of Teaching Administrative Paperwork!!!

Where Did You go to School? And What Degrees did You Earn? Mrs. Manley went to Elon University and received a BA in Elementary Education K-3.

Are There Any Different Schools that You Have Taught at? Mrs. Manley taught at Malibu Elementary for one year.

Did You Have Any Previous Jobs Before Teaching? Mrs. Manley was in real estate for fifteen years prior to going into teaching.

How Many Children do You Have? Mrs. Manley has two boys Alex who is 28 and Tanner who is 31 years old! Both are FC graduates!

What do You do Out of the Classroom? Mrs. Manley serves on the Board of Directors for zIMS Foundation, a foundation dedicated to educating and finding a cure for MS. Mrs. Manley also loves going to baseball games in the summer! GO NATS!
