Scoring Student Writing in MY Access! Pilot Prompt Scoring Pilot prompts are developed by schools, districts and/or Vantage Cannot be scored by IntelliMetric™ until a training set has been developed TWO options for scoring: Approximator, an alternate AI scoring engine, and/or the Vantage Scoring Center Approximator instantly provides an approximate holistic score based on a 6 point rubric Scoring Center scores student responses and adds these to the training/anchor set scoringcenter@vantage.com

Enter MY Access! Avoiding the chaos Before students log on, explain that MY Access! is a web-based program that can be used at any computer with Internet access. Have students click on the browser (e.g. Chrome) and type www.myaccess.com Add to “Favorites” Demonstrate student navigation

Avoiding the chaos Demonstrate how to log on, explain the domains/traits on the snapshot report, the weekly updates of student writing progress depicted on the graphs and the message board. Click on “Assignments” on the navigation bar Click “START” to the right of assignment Explain that the top of the screen displays feedback and the bottom of the screen is the writing place.
