Task Force on Cultural Employment

Different works on cultural employment - estimation in cultural occupations & activities (2002) - data collection in 2003 - LFS-extractions from Eurostat - estimation of the number of architects - new method of estimation of cultural employment (Nace x Isco)

Estimation in cultural occupations & activities * same classification as 2001 + new estimate for Architects * use of LFS-2002 data * extension to EFTA & candidate countries - activities * more refined classification * use of LFS-2002 data & alternative sources

Data collection - highest level of detail in Nace/Isco for LFS in 2002 - disponibility in Eurostat - any other source for Cultural Employment ?

Data extraction by Eurostat (new method) - for every country : Nace 2 x Isco 3 - for 12 countries : Nace 3 x Isco 3 - for 14 countries : Nace 2 x Isco 4 ---> 3 estimations : cultural occupations, cultural activities, new estimate using crosses Nace/Isco

Estimation of the number of architects - using Order statistics - estimate for other countries

New estimation by crossing of Nace 2 / Isco 3 - using LFS-2002 data - Nace 3 / Isco 4 data for responding countries
