Layers of the Atmosphere

Your Layers must be drawn to scale Use page 17 to figure out the height (thickness) of each layer In order to fit all the layers to scale on your graph, each line will be worth 20 km This means your graph will go up to 540 km (the exosphere will go off the top of your graph since there is no clear ending point) Label each layer

Information you should include for each layer can be found on pp. 16-21. 1. Name of Layer 2. Root of name and what it means 3. Height or thickness 4. High and low temperatures (except for ionosphere and exosphere 5. 2 interesting facts 6. The layers should be colored ** Remember** the Thermosphere has two sections- the Ionosphere and the Exosphere.
