The Public Transit Using ----around Metro Purple Line Present by Tsai-wei Wen Department of Public Policy

GIS Skill Inset map Aggregating attribute fields Creating indices: Public Transit Dependent Attribute sub-sets selections: Select the different subway line and different line’s stations Buffering Geoprocessing: clipping, projecting Geocoding: Mapping the future purple line (using street intersection)

Future Steps Estimate the potential riders (number of people who work in the study area) along the Wilshire Corridor Compare the percentage public transit users before and after the existing Purple Line operated Predict the what future purple line would affect along the Wilshire Corridor. Policy choice: Bus or Rail? Along the Wilshire Blvd.
