Monday, 10/23/17 Modern World History – subject for the day Early actions of the French Revolution Goals/activities Discussion violent acts of the early part of revolution. Why do you think things kinda just EXPLODED in France like they did? Why did the Estates General fail? What SHOULD Louis had done, or was what he did the best idea? Finish PPT and discussion on Early Violent stages of the French Revolution. On right side: What is the foreign war all about? What appears to be the goal of the leaders of the revolution, both at home and abroad? Give examples Homework: Left side of journal (this will be due on Wednesday if we get only partway done class today) Read p. 478-483 Do #6 and #7 on p. 483 (Robespierre and the international perspective)
