11 1)Following the pre-defined SOP to form a Operational Commanding Center, for the following actions: Activate immediate traffic restoration, request ad-hoc circuit arrangement with all possible resources, arrange cableship for emergency cable repair work. To care customers and provide them with updated traffic restoration status in a timely manners To hold press conference and from time to time release traffic status and cable repair progress To report to the authority – National Communications Commission, the disaster status and the measures 7. 12 2) Traffic restoration priority order: Air traffic control, Banking and financial security deals, and Voice 3) Reroute traffic through other cables or rent capacity from private cable operators to connect HKG, China, Singapore, Malaysia 4) Set up communication links with Singapore, Macau, Thailand and Indonesia via ST-1 & Intelsat satellites 5) Detour some of intl private lines through SingTel, CT, Reach, TM and other partners 6) Help SingTel, CT, Reach and other carriers by local terrestrial links for transit traffic through Taiwan 7.
