Forgot about the wildlife? By Nora and Sanjana

Stop building things People build things (towers, homes, and factories) without thinking about the wildlife. They think they have planned everything and everything is right but it’s not. Builder’s might say that cutting down trees to make space to build something isn’t a problem, but their wrong. It takes away animals homes.

What happens to animals homes? When trees get cut down raccoons, birds and squirrels loose their homes. When a building gets built ants and chipmunks homes get blocked. If animals loose their homes they have to build new ones. If animals don’t find a place to build a home before winter, they freeze to death.

Reasons why we need to make more space The natural habitat of wildlife is in forests and woods. Their habitat is getting ruined because people are cutting down trees to make paper, building houses and farming. If humans keep cutting down trees, there will be no animals left in the world and wildlife will become extinct. We need wildlife to preserve the natural balance of the ecosystem. We want children to see wildlife in the future.

What you should do to help You can help by: Planting trees for raccoons, squirrels, and birds Convincing the government to make more preserves Building apartments so we take up less space Recycling paper products so less trees are cut down
