Højby Skole 25th Anniversary The 11th of May 2005 Made by 7.b.

The day began with all the pupils meeting outsite to hoist the Danish flag. And then we went to the sports centre to sing some songs, and eat some lovely cake, and drink chocolate. Afterwards we saw the teachers playing H.C. Andersens fairytale ”Jack the Dullard”, it was so funny ! After a big break, were we going to the sports centre, to dance ”Folk dance”. It looked quite funny, we think. And then at the end, were we singing songs again, planting a tree, and then at last the best part of it all.. The balloons !! It was so funny to look at, and looked so beautiful in the sky.

Here we get some cake called a ”brunsviger” in Danish Here we get some cake called a ”brunsviger” in Danish. It is a cake baked with yeast and brown sugar and it is very good. We also got cocoa-milk. Uhm.. ö Cake .

25 Years Jack the Dullard It is piece of theatre called ”Jack the Dullard”. It is about a boy called Jack. He had to brothers, and all three wanted the princess. The clumsy Jack actually got the princess!

It is the headmaster (named Army). He played the role of the princess. The princess "Army" It is the headmaster (named Army). He played the role of the princess.

It is two of the old teatchers. They played The King and the Queen.

Dance All of us are dancing ’Oh Susanne’, an American traditonal folk/dance. Everybody is dancing in the sports centre. Both boys and girls are dancing together. It was great fun! Some of the teachers played the music, we were dancing to. And they were very good. Made by Julie and Camilla
