Goal of the new biogeo process “significantly contribution to achievement of Favourable Conservation Status’ by helping Member States to manage Natura 2000 as a coherent ecological network” Atlantic Seminar - first step fits into a wider framework of actions

Goal of the new biogeo process determination of the key management issues for Natura 2000 that need to be addressed to reach the 2020 Biodiversity Headline Target (Target 1) set a conservation agenda for the future by discussing the main management solutions to the agreed overview of the main conservation problems for the biogeographical region feed into the different practical and policy initiatives: (PAFs) Ops, management plans, restoration agenda, Green Infrastructure etc.

Networking on boreal level established Follow up with networking Good mix of policy and practitioners in meetings Keep fair involvement of NGOs and other stakeholders (Atlantic) focus also outside the N2000
