Agenda for the Day Questions about the lessons this week (3+4) Group Project: How are things going. What are you working on this week? Grammar Activity Analysis of the buyer

Your Task Today It is time to analyze the buyer(s) you are going to sell your product to. In web format, you will need to list all the characteristics of your prospective buyer. You should consider the following: Age Sex Hobbies or interests Married or single Rich, average, poor Any other characteristics you feel will be important.

In addition to your web, you are also going to need to come up with 5 advertising slogans for your campaign. (i.e.: “You deserve a break today”, “Just do it!”). Create slogans that work for your product. Remember, effective advertising is attractive to only certain types of people. You can not appeal to everyone you are trying to sell to. Therefore, make sure you know what your buyer would be interested in! Create your web, your slogans and your grammar work in an email to me and make sure it is completed prior to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 9. Label the subject of the email LA9TutorialWork. You can find the grammar exercises under the vocabulary section on your LA 9 webct page titled LA9Grammar # 3.

What’s Coming Up? Work on your lessons this week on detecting bias. Any questions on this? We will take some time to discuss this during tomorrow’s tutorial. Continue working on your group project in our tutorial tomorrow!
