D-E-L-I-G-H-T D aily – If we’re not consciously delighting in the Lord daily, then our hearts will find somewhere else to go. E mbrace The delightfulness of god. v. 40 this is a pro-actively seeking God.

We are saying that we will CONSCIOUSLY live our lives in light of God’s work on our behalf as we hold it close to our hearts. Embracing God means that we will be pro-active in cherishing Christ and in preaching the good news to our own hearts.

L-aw is in his heart v. 31 We have got to get rid the idea that law and love don’t go together. I-ntentional We don’t drift toward delight in God; it must be intentional

G odward focus Trust in the LORD, delight in the LORD; commit our way to the LORD; Rest in the LORD. We can’t Trust, Delight, Commit to, Rest in, and Wait on The LORD, if we don’t know who He is and what He is like.

H-eartfelt HOPE v. 39-40 Delight in Him and He will give you desires in your heart, and those desires will be put in perspective. “I’ll have that in heaven”

T-ell others v 30 A mark of being in the grip of grace is that we want to tell others. Before delighting in the Lord is something we do; it is someone we meet.

To cultivate your delight in God, get a sense of His love for you by fixing your eyes on Christ who gave Himself up for us as an offering and a sacrifice for us.
