Mandeville Elementary Fishing In The Car Line

Fish Philosophy Be There Choose Your Attitude Have Fun Make Their Day It is important to follow the rules of the school bus safety leader each day. Their job is to keep you safe at all times getting you to and from places. If you follow the 3 R rules, you are doing the right thing. Let’s take a look at each rule.

BE THERE Wait quietly in your assigned line Respect others by keeping your hands and feet to yourself Keep schoolbag closed You are on the bus to ride back and forth to school. The school bus safety leader needs to pay attention to the road. If you are misbehaving, you may cause an accident because the driver could not watch the road because they had to watch you misbehave.

CHOOSE YOUR ATTITUDE Watch for your car Listen for your name Raise your hand if you need something You should be nice to your driver, including substitutes, at all times. You should also be nice to other people who are riding the bus. They are there for the same reason as you are…to go back and forth to school in a safe manner.

HAVE FUN Socialize and speak softly with friends Talk to those next to you It is your job to know the rules and to follow the rules at all times. Not following rules will have consequences. Let’s talk about what can happen.

MAKE THEIR DAY Walking promptly to your assigned number when called Greet duty teacher by making eye contact, smiling, saying good afternoon, and say thank you

REMEMBER TO FISH IN THE CAR LINE! Following the rules for school safety will insure that ALL students get to and from school in a safe and timely manner. Do the right thing by following all of the rules and you will be sure to catch a fish! BE SAFE!
