Discussion Yesterday Affirmed a couple points from previous break-out discussion: Management interface needs to be defined by NVO3 Split-NVE control plane is being defined by IEEE Agreed to talk about control plane in two interfaces: NVA – NVA NVA – NVE Identified existing protocols that apply

Existing Protocols NVA - NVA NVA - NVE BGP EVPN X BGP L2VPN, L3VPN LISP DDT LISP MR OVSDB (schema TBD) YANG / Netconf ?

Next Steps Write this stuff down Discuss on mailing list I.e., write a draft (better than these slides) Discuss on mailing list Is the list complete? Better define the spec for each proto? Compare each proto against requirements? …pick one? How to make timely progress Consider a design team approach? Interim meeting focused on this topic?
