Mission The National Association of State Boards of Education exists to serve and strengthen State Boards of Education in their pursuit of high levels of academic achievement for all students.

Decision Making The Standards-Based Leadership Framework provides a basis for policy implementation and fidelity based on student learning. h Decision making and evaluation comprise an outward process for policy alignment and coherence.

Leading with Learning Standards Aligning policies to standards leads to effective strategic planning and decision making firmly focused on student learning. But the hub never changes – it is always about the standards. Hence, it is always about the learning.
