Cost analysis of European Statistics Context of this new project - efficient steering of resources, cost transparency, and priority-setting Scope - Estimate on allocation of 2016 human/financial resources to European statistical products on ESS level Coverage - complete picture covers NSIs and ONAs - European cost layer only Cost collection - Catalogue 2016 (=product list) as presented to the ESSC in November and to the RDG in December - in Eurostat: linking products with countries' data sets (EDAMIS, CENSUSHUB, …)
Cost analysis of European Statistics Estimates on 2016 costs – corner marks - NSI will get information on the link between 2016 products and the EDAMIS data sets - NSI covers the ONA part in their country - split between 'national' and 'European' cost layer - including all related expenditure (horizontal costs) - accrual accounting rules - to cover the whole 'production cycle' - to apply accrual accounting rules - to include expenditures which occur not every year (e.g. CENSUS)
