Flow is at +45° for 2 seconds, then at +90° for two seconds. New particles are injected into the flow from the lower left corner, and move with the flow.

Pathline: Shows the path of any single particle.

Pathlines: Shows the path of any single particle.

Pathlines: Shows the path of any single particle.

Streakline: Shows the final positions obtained by all particles emitted at any time from the same injection point.

Streamlines Exist only for steady flows. Are everywhere parallel to the local velocity. Have meaningful numerical values.
