Pay attention. I am studying. Teacher: Tell students that the boy is telling us what he’s doing at this moment.

Pay attention. He is playing soccer. Teacher: Tell students that we’re talking about what the boy doing at this moment.

Pay attention. They are having dinner. Teacher: Tell students that we’re talking about what the family is doing at this moment.

Read I am studying. He is playing soccer. They are having dinner. * These sentences refer to actions that are happening at this moment, now. Teacher: review the sentences with the students and ask them to check if they can see what they have in common. Elicit from the students the correct way of using the Present Continuous.
