Hallway R.O.A.R. Expectations “ON YOUR FEET, WE WILL NOT SPEAK” Students will: Stay to the right of the hallway. Always walk in a single, straight, and silent line (S.S.S.). Keep hands by their sides. Respect halls, walls, and bulletin boards. Teachers must walk their students directly to their destination and wait for the students to be received.

Bathroom R.O.A.R. Expectations “HUSH! FLUSH! WASH!” Grades Pre-K-1 Buddy System (2 girls and 2 boys, 1 pass each group). Grades 2-6 Students will: Use a bathroom pass (1 boy pass / 1 girl pass per class) for emergencies at all other times. All Grades Leave all items in the classroom (example: pencils, pens, paper, crayons) before going to the bathroom. Respect the bathroom facilities. Wash and dry hands.

Lunch Room R.O.A.R. Expectations Students will: Be escorted to the cafeteria by their teacher and received by the cafeteria monitor. Enter in the door near the stage. Remain SILENT while standing in the lunch line and the last five minutes of lunch. Get all necessary food items and utensils prior to sitting down. Sit at designated tables until instructed to line up for lunch by the duty teachers. Use proper table manners. Use a appropriate conversational tone while talking at tables. Individual behavior in the cafeteria will affect the overall classroom behavior chart. Remain seated until instructed to dump trays and clean tables. Line up when instructed by cafeteria monitor, and walk to the teacher. Be provided bathroom passes for emergency use only.

Playground R.O.A.R. Expectations Students will: Enter the playground in a single file (S.S.S.) line. Be respectful of one another. There will be NO hitting, NO kicking, NO fighting, NO pushing, NO inappropriate language, and NO throwing objects (only approved playground equipment). Use playground equipment in a safe manner. Stay in designated playground area. Upon hearing the whistle blow. One whistle blow = Freeze / Stop Play Two whistle blow = Line-up (S.S.S. line) Note: Monitors will be stationed at different areas of the playground.

Classroom R.O.A.R. Expectations Being on Time (7:45 am) Being Prepared (2 sharpened pencils, notebook, homework, textbook, book for DEAR) Appropriate Uniform Daily (includes shoes, shirt, pants/skirt, earrings not larger than a quarter, no extra items: jackets, hats, headbands )

School Wide Quiet Sign One, two, three all eyes on me ….. 1, 2, eyes on you. Then all students will raise 2 fingers.

School Action Plan – All Grade Levels *Consequences 1. Verbal Warning and/or Teacher / Student Conference 2. Time-Out (Sent to Another Classroom) -There will be a time out area in each classroom. -There will be a 30-minute maximum for time-out. -Students (Grades 1-6) must complete a Reflection form. -Students should return to class when the timer expires. 3. Parental Contact (Verbal and/or Written) 4. Administrator Conference (Teacher Completes an In-House Referral Form) -An administrator will inform staff member, in a timely manner, of appropriate action taken. -A PS-74 should only be completed if all other steps have been exhausted.

Consequences *These consequences are per day. The slate is wiped clean at the end of the day.  *If consequences must be given more than once in one month, the following steps will be taken:  Consequences (Steps 1-5) Given Twice in One Month: Review Records / Cumulative File Teacher / Parent Conference  Consequences (Steps 1-5) Given Three Times in One Month: Counselor / Student Conference Complete a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) If needed, create a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) Referral to School Instruction Team (SIT) Administrator / Student Conference  These consequences may occur in any order depending on severity of the incident.
