Don’t let storage containers rust or corrode

Don’t store incompatible wastes together

Always keep hazardous waste drums closed Don’t

Prevent chemicals from spilling or leaking into floor drains

Results Milestones · Determined universe. 100 ·        Developed survey checklist. ·        Performed random baseline on-site visits. 59 ·        Developed multi-media, plain language workbook and self-certification checklist. ·        Self-certification period for facilities with workshop. ·        Performed second round of on-site visits:  59  ·        Analyzed data and completed a report. Outputs ·        Number of total technical assistance on-site visits: 118 ·        Number of completed self certifications:  42/ 100 =42% ·        Number of businesses reporting they are out of compliance: 34/ 42 =81% Outcomes ·        Number of changes made at a facility:  Between 3-5  ·        Percent increase in compliance for entire universe:  10%. ·        Number of unlicensed solvent distillation units that now have licenses:  8  ·        Development of good practice indicators:  31
